What really bothers me about the whole photography bit is that because I’m Black, there always has to be some theme or hitch or something. I have been a tribal woman, and I was slightly offended by it, when my white counterpart got some beautiful noir pictures taken. I don’t like that I feel I’m being discriminated against. I just wanted a beauty headshot, which everyone else got instead of me. I’m aware that I’m not as pretty as everyone else, but does that make me not beautiful at all?
